Important Dates to Remember
Tuesday, November 14th - Parent/Teacher Conference - 4:30-6:30
On Tuesday, November 14, North Laurel High School will be having a parent-teacher conference from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.  Teachers will be available to talk to parents about their child’s grades on that night.  Parents, come out and help ensure that this semester is a successful one for your child.  
 
November 22nd-24th - No School - Thanksgiving Break
 
Monday, December 4th - Underclassmen Picture Makeup Day 
 

NLHS 13th Region Cheerleading Champs
Cheer ChampsCongratulations to the NLHS Cheerleaders for winning the 13th     Region Cheerleading Competition!  We wish them the best of luck as they go on to compete at state in December.

PREORDER YOUR 2018 LEGACY "IN THE MIX" YEARBOOK TODAY!
 
Preordered copies of the 2017 yearbooks may be picked up from the library any school day between 7:45 and 3:30. Extra copies are available for anyone who didn't preorder.  The price is $60.  We also have extra copies available of the 2016 yearbook for $60.

2017 Graduation DVD's are now on sale for $10.  Copies may be picked up from the library any school day between 7:45 and 3:30.

PEPP Program
Attention Seniors!
The University of Kentucky is now accepting applications for its PEPP Program.  This program is for seniors who want to become a rural physician or dentist.  It does NOT matter where the student plans to attend college.  Applications available in guidance.  Deadline is Dec. 13th.
 

Summer Program
Attention Sophomores and Juniors!
The University of Kentucky is offering a summer program for sophomores and juniors interested in the medical field.  Applications are available in guidance.  Deadline is February 28, 2018.

Rogers Scholar Program
All "Assignments" MUST be submitted by January 31, 2018. Students will not be able to submit the individual assignments after this date.

Attention Juniors!
The Southeastern Kentucky Council on Youth Leadership is accepting applications for the 2017 - 2018 Youth Salute.  Students must be juniors with a 3.0+ GPA who have elected or appointed leadership experience in high school.  The application is available in Mrs. Jarvis' office.  Deadline to apply is October 25, 2017.  
 
Governor's Scholars Program (GSP) is a summer residential program for outstanding high school students in Kentucky who are rising seniors. See Mrs. Jarvis if you are interested.  Applications are now available at gsp.ky.gov. Everything is completed online and printed.   Deadline to submit printed information to Mrs. Jarvis is January 5, 2018.

Testing Center
The testing center will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 5:30 in room 104.

KGI Order Form

 

KGI will return on Wednesday, October 11th at 11:00 am to collect orders for graduation items. A $70 deposit is required at the time of ordering. 

 

Senior Picture Information: Monday, September 18th and Tuesday, September 19th is Senior Picture Day. Your senior portrait session will include three different looks: formal portraits, cap and gown portraits & casual portraits. The school photographer, Lifetouch, will provide tux and drape, as well as cap and gowns.  Be sure to wear your favorite outfit for your casual pose. Ladies please wear a strappy tank for your formal pose. You will receive an appointment card for your personal pictures.  The schedule is very strict. No late arrivals will be accommodated.
