Parents/Guardians, Students and North Laurel High School Community:

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!  I am excited to welcome back our faculty, staff, students and parents for the new school year.  North Laurel High School students and staff have accomplished so much and have so many reasons to celebrate.  North Laurel High School was recently recognized by U.S. News and World Report’s Best High School Rankings as a Silver Medal School for the second year in a row.

Our commitment at North Laurel High School is to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers and inspired learners prepared to thrive in the twenty-first century.  We strive to be a school that cares for and establishes relationships with all students.   NLHS provides an atmosphere that encourages high achievement, participation in extracurricular activities, and promotes personal growth for our students.

NLHS strives toward continuous improvement in order to better meet the educational needs of every student.  NLHS offers a variety of dual credit, AP and technical courses that will enable students to achieve success beyond high school whether it is postsecondary education or the workforce.

Full participation in academic and co-curricular programs and a willingness to act responsibly as an individual within our educational environment are the factors that enable all to have a successful and enjoyable year.

So whether it is in the classroom or athletic venue, show your North Laurel High School PRIDE, It’s Your Future!

GO Jags!
