Hunter Hills Elementary Choir performs for Veterans Talon Robinson's Pop Corn Pumpkin won 1st Place in our Character Pumpkin contest. Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf read stories during the Haunted Library event. Hunter Hills students and their families created some outstanding Character Pumpkins!  We had a spooktacular time at our recent Haunted Family Reading Night! Students and Mr. Bond enjoyed themselves during a reward trip to FInley's Read Like A Pirate Family Reading Night National Read A Book Day 4th grade eclipse model creations Enjoying eclipse snacks to celebrate the 2017 Solar Eclipse Hunter Hills staff and students enjoying the view! 1st grade had a fun and educational day learning about the Solar Eclipse. September 20th High Attendance Day!

Attendance HERO

Thursday, September 20th, has been designated state-wide as “High Attendance Day” for Kentucky schools.  This day highlights the importance of regular school attendance and the correlation between attendance and student performance.  Students who attend class regularly are more likely to keep up with their daily lessons, assignments, and academic achievement. 

Awards will be distributed statewide based on each individual school’s attendance percentage.  The school in each category (elementary, middle and high) with highest percentage attendance for that day will be awarded $500!

Let’s strive for 100% attendance on Thursday, September 20th and everyday!
