Join us for a night of Halloween fun in the library!  We will be telling stories and crafting in the library.  You can view and vote for your favorite character pumpkins.  The Computer Lab will be open for students and their family to read and take AR test together. 
It is going to be a spooktacular night!

Family Grinchmas Craft Night

Are you feeling a little grinchy? Whether you’re full of holiday cheer or “bah humbug”, make plans to bring the family to join us for Family Grinchmas Craft Night! Enjoy activities such as a sledding relay up Mt. Crumpit, decorating a Who-licious Christmas tree, participating in a Grinchy Read-a-thon, decorate a growing heart ornament and more! Bring the entire family on Thursday, December 15th from 5:30-7:30.

Hunter Hills Elementary School will be collecting any and all canned food items now through September 7th. These items will be sent to the people in Texas that have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. Anything you can send would be a blessing to those in need.

Santa Shop

PTO's Santa Shop will be held on December 5th-9th. Students can bring money to the Santa Shop and purchase christmas gifts for their friends and family.

Coin-a-Day Challenge

February 21st-24th our school is participating in a grade level coin drive called Coin-A-Day Challenge. Each day represents a different type of coin. The grade level that collects the highest overall total will receive $50.00 per classroom to spend at the book fair!

  • Friday, February 24th- ANY COIN FRIDAY

If you have any loose coins hiding under couch cushions, floor mats, in pant pockets, or the bottom of your bag, put them to good use by giving students more access to books they’ll want to read! Our school will use the donation to buy books for your child’s classroom.

International Dot Day

Hunter Hills Elementary students and staff will be making their mark on International Dot Day September 15th.  International Dot Day is staged to encourage people of all ages to harness their creativity. The inspiration behind the event is the children’s book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. It relates the tale of a teacher who challenges one of his female pupils to take courage in her abilities and from a dot on a page the youngster goes on to make her mark.  Students and staff are encourage to be creative and dress in dots to make their mark!

Dr. Seuss’ birthday is on Thursday, March 2nd. We will celebrate throughout Book Fair Week!

  • Monday- Cat in the Hat Day (Wear a Hat)
  • Tuesday- Dr. Seuss’s Sleep Book (Wear your Pajamas)
  • Wednesday- Green Eggs and Ham (Wear Green)
  • Thursday- Fox in Socks (Wear Wacky Socks)
  • Friday- Celebrate by dressing up as your favorite book character.  

(Book fair will be open Monday-Thursday… it will be closed on Friday.)
