Students Visit Eastern Kentucky University

CFI students touching the foot of Daniel Boone for good luck on the campus of Eastern Kentucky UniversityThe Biomedical Science (BMS) students of the Center for Innovation (CFI) recently visited Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) where they toured “The Campus Beautiful”, met with faculty from the biological science and chemistry departments, viewed clinical research labs and student housing, and enjoyed lunch among other college students at the Powell Campus Center cafeteria. Students enjoyed learning about the tradition of “rubbing the golden toe” of the Daniel Boone statue for good luck!  “It was a wonderful opportunity to have our students be able to visit the EKU campus and learn about the many great academic programs and student life activities at Eastern,” said Dr. James M. Davis, CFI Principal.
