Students Visit Eastern Kentucky University

The Allied Health Science (AHS) students of the Laurel County Center for Innovation (CFI) recently visited Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) where they toured “The Campus Beautiful”, met with faculty from the Occupational Science department, viewed clinical research labs, and participated in learning activities.  The students enjoyed lunch among college students at the Powell Campus Center cafeteria. Dr. Amy Marshall of EKU’s Occupational Science program provided a number of hands-on learning activities that engaged students in the career aspects of providing occupational therapy services. "It was a tremendous opportunity to have our students visit EKU and learn about the many great academic programs and student life activities provided at Eastern," said Dr. James M. Davis, CFI Principal.
