Student recruitment for the programs of study at the Laurel County Schools Center for Innovation (CFI) for the 2018-19 academic year is now underway! Students interested in participating in the programs at the CFI can visit with their high school guidance counselor for information, assistance, and to pick up an admissions application. “We are pleased to be able to offer multiple Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs and a number of diverse career pathways for students at the CFI. We are enjoying tremendous success at the CFI in both our academic and technical courses, remarked Dr. James Davis, CFI Principal.
The CFI offers five programs of study: Allied Health Science, Biomedical Science, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, and Media Arts Technology. All programs at the CFI provide students with the academic education and technical training needed to earn college credit through articulated course credit agreements, dual credit course agreements, as well as advanced placement courses.
