AP Calculus AB  View Blog

View Events/Assignments for

AP Calculus AB is a single-variable calculus course. The AB course is meant to mirror one semester of introductory calculus at the collegiate level. Most colleges/universities will call this course "Calculus 1." Students typically earn one semester of college calculus credit (4-5 hours) for receiving a passing score of a 3 or higher.

This course requires a significant investment of a student's time in order to succeed. Many students who have breezed through math obtaining an A with minimal effort will find a brand new experience in math class this year. Most first-year calculus students find learning brand new mathematics and skills an exciting and enjoyable endeavor.

I look forward to a challenging, rewarding, and excellent year!

This is our course syllabus. This is the version that was audited and approved by the College Board.
      • Obtaining a UTEID
How to obtain a UTEID. Only bother with this if I announce in class that we will use the online Quest system. I'm undecided at the time of this posting.
