It is so important to continue learning even though school is out for the summer. You don't want to lose all that knowledge you learned last year. Below are some great ideas for summer learning.
1) READ!!!!! Read as much as possible. Have a list of books you read this summer so you can take AR tests on them when school begins in August. I want to see what all you have read. We will share on the first day of school.
2) Keep a journal. Every day write about what you are doing. Remember to use proper capitalization and punctuation.
3) Math facts- use some flashcards or have someone quiz you on addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts. It is so important in 4th grade to know your multiplication facts by memory.
4) Get on I-Ready. Go to school home page and click on Student Resources on the side. Click on Iready. You will have the same username and password that you had from this past school year. This is a great program and you can make so much growth by using it!
