Keyboarding Class Calendar

Keyboarding is a nine week course designed to teach students the "touch-type" method of keyboarding.  It is important that students learn to type each key using the correct finger reaches.  Learning to type correctly will help students be more productive computer users.
Keyboarding Class Syllabus
  • Graded Assignments

    Students will receive a grade for the following:

    • Contract/Parent Contact page
    • Earbuds in Folder
    • Keyboard Chart
    • Finger Chart

    One-Minute Timings:

    • Timing 2a (minimum speed--8 wam)
    • Timing 9a (minimum speed--12 wam)
    • Timing 17a (minimum speed--16 wam)
    • Timing 6n (minimum speed--18 wam)

    Lesson Completion Status Grades:

    • Completion of Alphabetic Lessons 1-10.
    • Completion of Alphabetic Lessons 1-20.
    • Completion of Numeric Lessons 1-16.
