Beginning in 2018, for the AP Biology Exam students may now use a four-function (with square root), scientific, or graphing calculator.

CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW TO SEE A LIST OF PERMITTED CALCULATORS

https://apstudent.collegeboard.org/takingtheexam/exam-policies/calculator-policy

You can use the calculator on the entire exam and you will receive a formula list.  I have a set of 4 function calculators with square root available for classroom activities and exams.  These calculators are also provided to students on test day.

COST
AP exams are $94.  Announcements are made early in the spring semester about  paying for tests.  Students must reserve a test during the reserve fee period in order to have a test available on test day.  The reserve fee is part of the total exam cost.

You may qualify to have the fee waived or reduced.  As the time to order tests approaches announcements will be made.  Usually students who qualify for free or reduced lunch may receive their AP exams free or for a reduced fee.  This varies from year to year depending on funding for this program.  I will make announcements about this opportunity in class.
