Fire Drill

1.    During a fire drill, students are to line up in single file.  The lead student will lead the group out of the classroom, out the front doors, and down the sidewalk to the designationed meeting area.  There should be no talking as students quickly and safely exit the building.
2.    As students exit the building, students should stay together in a group.  The teacher will be the last person out the door to ensure that all students exited the room.  The teacher will then, as quickly as possible, move to the beginning of the group.  Students should be looking for the teacher as they near the bus loop.  Once you see your teacher, follow your teacher to the designated area. You must be with your teacher when the teacher calls roll.  All students must be in attendance; missing students will be reported to the principal in order to ensure student safety.
3.    While outside during a drill, there is to be no horse play or other actions that could cause injury to students or others.
