Snack Procedures

                                                                August 10th, 2016

Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

Our classroom will not have a “Snack Calendar” this year. If your child wishes to have a snack they will be responsible for either bringing their own individually wrapped snack, or bringing money to purchase it from the “Snack Cart”.  Money cannot be kept in the classroom or on an account in the cafeteria, for snack. 

If there is a special occasion, (ex. A student’s birthday) for which you would like to bring in “Special Snack” for the class please make the classroom teacher aware beforehand.  (*These “Special Snacks” must be brought in on a Friday.)

*Please do not send in any items that have peanuts or are processed with peanuts, or products containing cinnamon due to allergy concerns

Please refer to the SBDM Policy that is attached.  We have provided a list of recommended snacks that are peanut/tree nut free, for your reference.
