Laurel County Public Schools look forward to welcoming your child as a future kindergarten student! The information collected will be utilized to begin the Kindergarten Registration process for the 2022-2023 school year. If you have multiple children enrolling in kindergarten, please complete a registration form for each child. Newly enrolled Kindergarten students must be 5 by August 1st, 2022.
Kindergarten students must enroll in the school that is closest to their primary residence.
Families can complete the Kindergarten Registration form online and email to their child's school or print form and mail/deliver to their child's school.

Information on Early Entrance to Kindergarten
The Early Admission language is an amendment to KRS 158.030 requiring each local school board to adopt a policy allowing parents or guardians the opportunity to petition the board to enroll a child who does not meet the Kindergarten (Pl) age requirement of turning 5 years of age by August 1.
