Students will be out of school from March 16th through April 3rd. However, only March 23rd - 27th are instructional days to be completed at home. Your child has received an instructional packet including math, reading, and language for that week. This is to be returned on April 6th, or the first day that we return to school. This work will be counted as grades and will reflect on their report card. In addition to the packets, students should also be working on I-Ready online lessons. They should complete at least 30 minutes of both reading and math each day. If you need a reference for the work assigned, there is a link on the left titled Home Correspondence Instruction that will have a list of assignments.
If you have any questions or need help, we will be available from 8:00 - 3:00 Monday through Friday during this period. The best way to contact us is through Class Dojo.
*Remember to read with your child for at least 20 minutes!
*Your child needs to be at school by 7:45 if they are going to eat breakfast.
* Send milk money for all week on Mondays ($1.50 for all week). Milk is $0.30 per day.
* Each student will receive a binder that needs to be taken home each night and returned each day. This binder will contain a zipper pouch (for milk money, notes, etc), snack and up coming events/activities calendar, weekly newsletter, folder for daily work/important papers, and reading log.
* Please check binders nightly for daily classwork, important papers to return, teacher notes, etc.
* Please put a set of extra clothes in your child's backpack for spills, accidents, etc.
