Kate Ray New Principal at McDaniel Learning Center

McDaniel Learning Center is excited to welcome Kate Ray as their new Principal.  Kate Ray joins the McDaniel Learning Center with over 21 years of experience in education.  Mrs. Ray has been teaching English at the Laurel County Schools Center for Innovation since 2017.
Mrs. Ray received her undergraduate degrees at Austin Peay State University, her Masters in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University, and her Education Specialist degree in Supervision and Administration from Eastern Kentucky University.  Mrs. Ray's wealth of education experience includes teaching grades from 7-12 and, at the college level.
Mrs. Ray says she looks forward to working with the McDaniel Learning Center staff in "continuing the legacy of a learning-focused environment that translates to success in the real world for all students."  She wants McDaniel Learning Center students to create connections that will allow them to achieve their goals and realize their dreams.
Mrs. Ray is a proud mom of three who enjoys attending her children's athletic events and having family fun at Laurel Lake.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and cooking.
