Parents as Teachers

Unlock your child’s mind and expand their learning experience!

PAT is a parent education program offered by Colony and Hazel Green Family Resource Centers. Our PAT, Betty Rush, serves families who are expecting a child or have children under the age of Kindergarten.

A Parent Educator provides home-visits with families to promote early learning, knowledge and understanding of child development.

Parent Educators also assist in building a partnership between families, schools and community resources. To sign up for our PAT program, please call Colony FRC at 862-4642 or Hazel Green FRC at 862-4650
