The election for our two Johnson Elementary Site Based Decision Making Committee members will be held on Thursday, July 23rd from 8:30-11:30am. If you will have a child enrolled at Johnson Elementary next year, you are eligible to vote in this election. (This includes parents, stepparents, and foster parents. Legal guardians are also eligible to vote if the child lives in their home.) I urge every parent to participate in this important decision about the future of our children’s school.

Results will be announced on the school website and/or social media. If you have any questions about the SBDM or election process, please contact Ryan Reed, the Johnson PTO Treasurer at ryanreed500@yahoo.com.

Please see the nominee names and statements below.

Drayer Spurlock - I am grateful for the opportunities my children have had at Johnson Elementary and want to give back to Johnson by continuing to serve as a parent member of its SBDM council. If re-elected, I will work to develop plans and policies that help Johnson students from gifted to special needs, to try to make Johnson even better for our children. I will listen to your concerns and ideas and work with other council members to get positive results for our children. Thank you for your consideration.

Megan Emond - My name is Megan Emond. I have three boys, two of which are still at Johnson Elementary. We have been at Johnson since 2016. I love Johnson and the small community that it provides.
