The SLMS academic team hosted their annual Cardinal Classic Tournament on Saturday, November 16th. With 24 teams in attendance, the sixth-grade team finished as tournament runners-up in the Sixth Grade Division and the varsity team finished in 3rd place in the Varsity Division. The following team members placed in the top ten in their content assessment categories:

Hunter Looney - 1st place in Social Studies
Elijah Whicker - 1st place in Science and 6th place in Math
Eliana Gregory - 1st place in Language Arts, 1st place in Arts & Humanitites, and 3rd place in Science

Zaiden Swiderek - 5th place in Social Studies and 9th place in Science
