Laurel County Schools Police Department and our district administrative staff continue to communicate with our local law enforcement agencies regarding their search for the suspect in the Saturday night I 75 shooting incident. Our number one priority continues to be the safety of our staff and students. Based on the developments and recommendations from local law enforcement, a decision regarding school cancellation for Tuesday, September 10, will be made later today.
